Green Dome Garden
A community garden growing green space in the park.
Green Dome is 2,500 square feet at the edge of McCarren Park, built by neighbors in Williamsburg and Greenpoint. Stone paths and Belgian block run level enough for wheelchairs and strollers. Nothing here gets sprayed. The birds and insects do the work, and on a warm afternoon you can hear it. Visit toweed or visit to read. The gate is open from morning until dusk.
