The McCarren Play Center Pool is a beloved piece of Brooklyn history and one of the great free summer amenities in North Brooklyn. Free swimming is open to the whole neighborhood in July and August.

Check seasonal hours and pool rules before you visit—lockers, proper swimwear, and a lock are typically required for entry.
